本次活動全權委託 KKTIX 進行票務作業，購票前請詳閱 KKTIX 相關規定。
- 購票付款方式採用信用卡、Paypal 及 ATM 等三種。
- KKTIX退票時限為活動 10 日前 (例如 25 日的活動最晚可於 14 日辦理退票)，可直接登入 KKTIX 會員頁面或透過 KKTIX 信件連結操作。KKTIX 將收取 10％ 退票手續費，亦即退回 90％ 的票款給購票人。(KKTIX 會另向 Jobspace 收取 6％ 手續費。)
- 10 日內報名者請在報名前確認活動當日無其他要事衝突，Jobspace 無法辦理退票。
主題：開源新聞實驗 -- News by Open Source

2015 年的秋天，簡信昌開始了一個開放原始碼的新聞實驗。他進入一家非營利新聞媒體「報導者」，把新聞網站的製作流程所需的工具以開放原始碼的方式釋出。今年的秋天，他進一步把實驗帶進商業媒體。
為了這個實驗，簡信昌為新聞出版進行了大量的開發工作。所有的程式都以開源的方式釋出，可以在 https://github.com/mirror-media 取得。軟體開發用到了 Python、Node.js 和 Golang。基礎架構裡面有 MongoDB、Google Compute Platform、Redis 等等。
台灣的大眾媒體該如何應用資訊科技？該選擇什麼技術，用什麼方法取得？全球媒體事業將來又會如何發展下去，滿足人群溝通的需要？11/25 禮拜五晚上，歡迎來和簡信昌討論。

In 2015 Autumn, Hsin-Chan Chien instantiated an experiment of doing news using open source. He joined a not-for-profit news media organization “TW Reporter” and open-sourced the news publishing tools he did. In this Autumn, he move a step forward, and bring the experiment to a commercial mass media.
For the experiment, Hsin-Chan developed a lot of software tools for news publishing. Everything is open source and can be obtained at https://github.com/mirror-media. Python, Node.js, and Golang are used for code development, while MongoDB, Google Compute Platform, and Redis are in the infrastructure.
How should the information technology be used by Taiwan's mass media? What technologies should be applied and how to acquire them? How will the mass media industries world wide to further develop and bring people together? In the evening on November 25, Friday, come to discuss with Hsin-Chan.
講員介紹 (Speaker Introduction)
簡信昌 (hcchien, Hsin-Chan Chien, https://github.com/hcchien)，臺灣開放源碼信徒，與其他 Perl 愛好者一同籌組台北 Perl 推廣組 (Taipei.pm)，並從 2003 開始舉辦開源相關研討會，推廣開源精神。2006 年創辦了「開源開發者研討會 (OSDC.tw)」，並長期投入其中。簡信昌在 Yahoo 工作多年，擁有豐富的軟體開發經驗。他在 2015 年進入非營利新聞媒體「報導者」，打造新聞平台，並且將所有原始碼公開，希望在臺灣媒體業進行開源的實驗與革命。
Hsin-Chan Chien (hcchien, https://github.com/hcchien), an enthusiast of open source in Taiwan. He started Taipei Perl Promotion Team (Taipei.pm), and has hosted open-source conferences since 2003, to promote open source. In 2006, he founded Open Source Developer Conference Taiwan (OSDC.tw), and has worked on it for almost a decade. He is an experienced developer working with Yahoo for many years. Hsin-Chan joined a not-for-profit news media organization “TW Reporter” to build a news platform. He open-sourced all the software tools, and plan to do an revolutionary experiment in Taiwan’s mass media industries.
